[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A jump into the empty nothingness of the Salar de Uyuni. The sun was at its heighest (almost zenith) when I took this photo of myself. You can tell by the shadow. There was a very small speck of an island in the background but I erased it to enhance the empty feeling. (There still is a small island to the left, but almost invisible). But for the rest there is the empty white of the Salar stretching some 160km from where I took this photo.

Cheers

Joris

Hi Joris,

Stunning composition. Very well balanced in difficult lighting circumstances i suspect. Making the person jump adds to the overall beauty of the shot. Well done.

Regards,

Edwin

Hi Joris..this is a great shot..wonderful sharpness and great composition.

Hi Joris,

Sometimes a staged composition isn't all that bad. ;-)
And here it even works very well! It would have just been an empty photograph of nothing without the guy! But now, the guy - and especially his shadow - create a great depth. Nice!!

Greetings,
Dennis
