|High (circa 3500 m) in the Andes near Colca Canyon where the condors soar, many tourists stop by the road on their way to Machu Pichu. The ladies of the area, well known for their embroidery, sell their wares by the roadside.|
It's a long day for them, and those with kids (human or sheep) bring the little ones along. No doubt rather boring for the children, but they tend to adjust...like this toddler who seems quite immersed in her own handicraft. A charming, but at the same time, a somewhat sad scene.
