Getting the table ready for Sunday Lunch... Another aspect of daily life. I really enjoyed the light here, so didn't try to get things finished first - just wanted the atmosphere. I'm always amazed at how the light can change things. With winter about to arrive, everything is sharp and you definately dare not drive your car without sunglasses! I wonder why that is?

Anyway, the oak and cream just looked good, so I took the shot and posted it. Hope you enjoy! Looks relaxed and soothing to me.

Tech: Cropped slightly, added sharpness and unsharp mask, then ran through NeatImage and added a border.

You are right about the light Judy and you did right in not waiting to take the shot. It would have been a shame to lose this oportunity. You should see if you could use this light for some more photos. Mabye a potrait of your dauther or a still life.

Very nice.

This light makes a good photo, I like the effect of the left flower's colours fading into the colours of the wall. :-)

Nice Photo. I would like to be there...

Very elegant and simple. Very inviting shot.

Hi Judy, very attractive lunchtable, the light is beautiful and the composition is very nice. The colors match very well.
I personally like the wine very much ;-) Like the fram as well!

Wow, first your books and now your lunch table. I am looking forward to your cooking, Judy. Anyway, the almost monochrome effect of this shot is as you say very relaxed and soothing. The only thing one could criticise is maybe that it is so good that it looks like the cover of Better Homes or something like that. But do take that as a compliment.

This is a really outstanding shot!
Did you work for an interior design magazine before?
This looks professional.
I like the cream-cast.
Almost everything is midtone which successfully creates the mood you had in mind.
Very well performed USM.
Excellent job Judy, and thank you for sharing such a beautiful photograph.

Great composition, Judy.

I want to lunch with your famaly :)

Well done

Great composition Judy. if you want, you can invite me to dinner there. I will have all the pleasure in accepting. :)
