Cooooooooooool! Brings back memories of previous trips as a youngter. Would have been nice if you'd taken it from the bow though.... Ha ha ha

Kidding aside, most people cannot imagine the strenght of these waves. Some make the ship jerk and you can really feel them hitting

Special photo Donna showing the power of nature. Well composed, good colour and light. Even though we are in Spring down here the last few days have been very stormy. A wave measuring device on the west coast recorded one wave at 19.5 metres. TFS,

The hay was not left there after harvest Donna it has been placed there by the farmer as supplementary feed for his sheep.

A moment of nature in rough mood has been captured beautifully in this picture. Very nice compostion of tidal wave with excellent timing. The point of view is also exciting.

Hello Donna !

I always loved rough weather at sea (^_^). Great catch of this breaking wave against the ship's bow. Although the choppy waters are not big enough to produce rolling and pitching here. A storm in the North Atlantic , with the propeller going completely out of the water while the ship is going going down in the waves, or the ship was rolling 25 to 35 Degrees each side rapidly. Wooo Hooo, That was fun ( and noisy !!!) and even scary at times . On one trip we even lost our deck load of lumber.......
