this is the oldest and only railway tracks in Singapore and it doesn't even belong to us :P

words taken from the web:
"A slower, costlier, but more comfortable way to travel to Malaysia would be by rail. The railway station in Singapore, along Keppel Road, is the southern-most terminus of the Malaysian railway system, Keretapi Tanah Melayu ("KTM"). It has trains leaving for different parts of Peninsula Malaysia everyday.

You'll have to be at the station about 30 minutes to an hour before the departure time to clear the Malaysian customs, which takes place at the station before boarding. Clearance of the Singapore immigration takes place at Woodlands, just before the Causeway. At Woodlands, you will need to leave the train with your baggage in order pass through the checkpoint, before re-boarding the train."

if this railway was run by the Singapore side, i wouldn't be able to get this shot :P there was no one there to stop me getting onto the tracks...on our own subway systems when i get too close to the "yellow line" there would be an anouncement on the PA system telling people to keep clear and stay safe :P

well done ,was a good choice in monochrome :)
Have a nice day.

Excellent job! love the B/W! Maybe you can also try not setting the desaturation to 100%. maybe 70-90% to leave some rusty color of the railroad :)

Hi BK,
What do they say, Singapore is a fine country :P

I love your POV in this photo, the way the track comes together and moves away and finally meet again at the horizon.
TFS,
Niek

Strange mix of feelings generated by this picture - the track going forward gives a sense of space and distance, yet the dark sides seem to crowd in and give a sense of claustrophobia. Wonderful POV! I like the tonal range in the shot as well - gives nice focuses the attention on the central tracks.
Thanks for sharing
Mark

Hello Bk, fantastic sense of perspective and really appropriate the dark grey tone. I like also the sky!!!!

Hello. Great prespective, very nice composition. The black an white is perfect in here. Good work!! :O)

an impressive capture. I like the POV although not so unique but you have interestingly captured it. I like the graphism it represents and the decision of making it b&w made it all awesome.

İşte, sizden beklediğim güzel ışık ve çizgi çalışması. Diğer çalışmalarınızda olduğu gibi yine büyüleyici bir çalışma .

Hi

Very nice POV and composition. Your Tokina served your very well. I own the 12-24 lens as well and have been very happy with it. I like the choice of B&W. The geometry of the tracks really makes this shot. Good work!

I was looking aound in your portfolio and this cames in...there everything i like in shot here, sense of perspective, design...its just great.
