another chair shot with the Rolleiflex :)
this time an abandoned chair found in a backalley

i was advised by the owner of the camera to shoot at higher F-stops to get the best results from the Tessar design Planar lens cause my previous shots of closer object tend to hav be unsharp cause the lens hav a very shallow DOF :)

so for this roll of film i shot everything at F11 onwards :P
i'm very impressed by the sharpness of the lens cause its almost 50 years old :)
this shot was at F22, the camera's max, i think its sweet spot is around F11-F16

converted to b/w
some burning around the bright spots from the sun
light vignette filter
some tone adjustments and color cast :)

great mood!good compo and light!

Hello BK.
Excellent shot, have a good one.
Congratulations and thanks for sharing.
Have a great weekend, greetings.

Lovely composition and light! The chair seems so old and deserted. The wall and the floor are fitting perfectly with the chair. Well done. Thanks for sharing.

All the best,

A nice conceptual photo . You did the best . In addition your note is perfect . But I dont like its crop I believe it was better not to cut top and left of chair . I should say this chair remind me solitude .
Have a good time

This is wonderful XU! It's VERY moody...lonely! I like the BW conversion! You did a great shot with this!

Perfect capture. Fantastic sharpness. Details, composition and framing are wonderful.

Very good b&w, I like that old chair with its shadow and that wall. Great atmosphere (or mood...).

Hi Bk,
great B/W composition. Very well choosen tonal range that brings out the textures. POV, sharpness and presentation are very nice.

love the black and white, the chair looks like its been around for awhile so must be VERY comfortable! I like the shadows there cast by it as well.. and do like the tight crop.. TFS

What scanner did you use ? ( I also own put away a Rolleyflex and would love yo use it)
Absolutely fantastic...the only minor detail I would have cropped a little less.

this is a very interesting one

i like that it seems to be so lonely

just only one chair
but this pix isn't stable
the space on the right
makes this pic seems to be
so much interesting

nice b/w color

i like the shadow on the floor
it make this chair alive

Hi BK,
Great tones and POV in this shot, it has a real nice feel to it. I actually think the chopped off parts in the frame look great, making the composition stronger, great decision!
