Night before last, an ice storm came through, coating us in wondrous beauty, but knocking out our power for over 24 hours.

PP work--cropped, saturated the color (+65) to brighten the sky, framed, resized and sharpened for TL.

Hello Karin!

Nice POV, great composition. I like the winter heaven on your picture.

I was going to try and get a nice ice shot but never got around to it. I love the crystal city effect.

The very light blue of the sky matches well with the overall picture.Good frame. Alfred

Hi Karen,
Funny how something so beautiful can be so distructive. We had this experience some time ago, but lost our power for 72 hours...but that's another story lol.
Your photo is beautiful. I may have went with a different comp with the big main trees, but everyone has their own opinions, and alot of times it's no better than what's presented before us. I feel you done an excellant job on capturing the ice covered trees, as I've tried before without this good of success. Your sky is AWESOME! A very beautiful photo...sorry for writing a book lol.

Beatiful winter ,great composition!!!

Hi Karen,
Great winter wonderland view! Excellent soft tones and a magnificent panorama. The trees look from glass. Perfect capture nicely sharp. Great job my dear Karen! TFS.

Regards Mark

What a postcard-like shot! I am so glad to be missing this white junk!
Great capture of the sky, it's such a nice added attraction.
Hope you keep your power, we went though this in early December, man it was tough.
Very well done,

Hello Karen!
Beautiful colours and light in your composition!
Nice clarity and perspective!

Hi Karen
Very nice shot l like it .....well done tfs

hi karen,
great shot !!!

Hello Karen,
This is impressive, I like it!
A forest made of ice, not often we come to see that... Pity for all the problems also caused by the same "artist"...
I think the tad of blue in the sky does well for this image!

Hi Karen!
This is a very beautiful photo. I like the monochromatic colours and the touch of blue sky. It is very nice to look at. You framed it very tastefully. Very well done! TFSTP
Freddie :)

Wow! This is a beautiful landscape shot. Lovely to see all the icy trees. Well done on the composition and saturation of colour.

Hi Karen, lovely paler colours. Well composed and very fine detail. The weather patterns over the last 3 months have been wierd, even down here. Instead of Autumn we seem to be having a later Summer. TFS,

Many thanks for your comment on ‘Little Dove’

Great composition and pleasant soft colors. It might need just a bit more saturation.

Brilliant composition and perspective, Karen.
The pastel colors are truly lovely and the sharpness -DOF excellent.
congratulation bye Aga
