[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
6 o'clock AM, I havn't slept (my choice) so I went to the Dubai corniche and took this shot. 'twas still dark w/ some lights coming from the moons.

Exp: 1sec
F-stop: f/2.8
Note: Horizon is tilted 1° to the right, shame on me!

Pp: As you know, there is only one moon. In this pic, there is no moon, even. The small dot of light is from an Emirates Airline plane that I made bigger and put additional lighting and glow. The big new moon is just a quickie addition for some drama and out-of-this-world effect. In making the sky bigger, I made the canvas size bigger at the top, copied the layer, flipped it vertically, and "book-matched" it w/ the previous layer. The result is always a flasless sky, unless you have a cloud formation unlike this pic.
I hope you enjoy this composition. Have a happy day, always!
Freddie :)

Hi Freddie,
I really like the idea and it did give the photo a nice feeling to it. In all your PP work, you forgot to put the horizon straight.

Nice PP. Create an interesting atmosphere. The "moon" looks very heavy as if it can fall into the sea anytime.

Hi Freddie ,
great iamge.
very well done.
thanks for sharing

Perfect shot, but i think 1 degree in ... ?
Nice effect

Wow, Fred,
Great shot..it's 3 moons, not 2..you did not include the 3rd one on the reflection. Good job.

Hi Freddie :)
Good idea, very well seen. Shot full of serenity, I enjoy a lot. TFS

Hi Freddie,
Nice post processing you have done on this image. It looks like one of those SF photos that you see in book stores. The picture is slightly tiled as many others before me mentioned.

Bonsoir Freddie,
Une belle composition , j'aime bien ton idée de ton travail, c'est bien fait sauf ta ligne d'horizon qui a été noté auparavant.. Bien vu ..

Hi Freddie,
Very creative work in adding the moons. It's not over the top, but has made your pic interesting.

I may have to crit an older pic of yours, seen one that REALLY caught my eye!

nice air !!
i like the composition

soon back

think u shouls straighten the horizon

Hi Freddy. Congratulations on showing something most of us will never see. Most creative capture. Good work. Murray.

Hi Freddie!
Fantastic moment captured.
Looks very interesting and impressive to me.
Great, great, great!
Well done and Good Luck with WS ;)
do you know what I mean ... ;))
Best Regards.

will be back with ;)

I saw something like that. I was believe it was the same! A powerpoint who circulate... And they said! It was the moon see from north pole when they ad the midnight sun and the moon together! Your montage is well made. And the little one was from a plane! It's mean you probably add the line of reflection into water too :)
Good work!

Hi Fred,

Reading his text, in this case should congratulate in double, because if the small light is an airplane, you worked well in the reflex in the water.
idealizes good and very creative. The landscape is wonderful and of beautiful effects.

Fred, this is brilliant PP work -- and from the thumbnail I was drawn into this before any other in your gallery!
Fabulous textures and details: this would make an outstanding book-cover illustration for a sci-fi novel

Hi Fred,
Great PP-work. Having an astro-photo feeling. Strange and nice at the same time. Interesting.
Tfs, best wishes, László

Some inventive PP work here to create an eye catching picture. I'd be tempted to clone out the boats to retain the lights as a single column through the picture, but thats a minor change.
Thanks for sharing

I like it...very creative. The post processing adds a lot to this otherwise simple image...well done Fred
