|I somewhat transformed the original picture using the software Picture It. Giving the look of a painting.|
I recall in the late 1970s, I was producing the same effect but without any computer, by simply re-photographying the original slides projected on a translucid screen through a textured glass. It took at that time a whole series of steps. Nowadays, it just takes a computer click !! Amazing how computers can make life easy.

Excellent colours, composition and lighting.
I too remember those techniques in the 70's. I used to put stockings over the lens of the enlarger, just to get a texture.
I love window shots, especially those with geraniums in a window box. Lovely composition. Good work on the painting effect.

The "painting like effect" is very successful. It makes a very beautiful composition and colors.
Your should have posted the original shot in the workshop. Could have interesting !
