Beautiful warm lighting that brings out golden highlights and emphasizes the contours and features of the young man and the camel's face. It's expressive and powerful with him gazing curiously and somewhat scrutinizingly at you, and the point of view chosen with him almost riding at you or beside you is effective. Perhaps I would have left in his whole legs and the top of the camel's body to get a sense of continuity and context. Beautiful sky with that wisping of rosey-white clouds in the background to make the boy pop out and seem as if he is flying or high up. Good detail, clarity, and the tonalities are great. What is the wooden board in front of him? Is that to keep balance on the camel while riding? I love the Sahel, it really has a radiating beauty of its own. Thanks for sharing!
