[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was on my way home from an all-night scrapbooking crop at a local store and decided to stop by the Forrey Preserve in Heath, Ohio while I was out.

It was about 7:30am and the sun was just coming up over the trees. It was humid and the mist had not yet burned off. This sight just set me aback, literally made me say "woah...".

What was beyond that curve? I had to know, but first, I had to shoot! What lay beyond that gentle curve was a spot overlooking the Licking River. That view was not as spectacular as the one leading up to it, though.

Even when I rise early, I am usually on my way to work when the light is this sweet. If I am up early on a day off, I don't tend to drive out to places I know are beautiful this time of day. I'm so glad I was already out at dawn and had this opportunity!

Sweet light indeed, Kimberley. I love the way the light "enters" this shot, the backlit lightgreen foliage in the middle of the picture. A nice view, well spotted!

Beautiful atmospheric photo! I love the quality of light hitting the leaves and the richness of the greens. Great composition too - the scene has a nice balance to it and I feel like I could step right into the image. What a serene, peaceful scene. Well done!
