|I took this photo with my first Digital camera (Panasonic LC33) It was taken at Devonport on a beautiful summers day, perfect to hold the 1920's display of Vintage cars and dancing from that era, I found many pics on a CDROM I forgot I had. I placed a weave effect using Jasc Paintshop Pro7 over the photo to try something oriental and original. It's amazing how a 3mega pixel photo I thought was amazing in 2004, now looks below par, hence why I did the effect to showcase what would have been a stunning photo if taken with more mega pixels.|

Interesting PP. I like the effect it creates.
About the Mp: Unless you want to crop the image a lot I would say 3 Mp is enough for most thinks. If you start cropping or want to print very large you need more Mp, but then you also need better lenses than most compact cameras offer.
Lovely imaage Steven, I like the way the basketweave has given her clothing a "Kimono" look, matching her oriental parasol.
I've posted a workshop for you, just fixing her cheek and chin.
I hope youlike it.
A very good idea, well done,
