I sit here abandoned while everything around me grows. New apartments to my left, an office space to my right and town homes in the process of being built in front of me. Won’t some one take advantage of my charm? I once sat in the middle of the country side that is now gone. Can some one look at me and see, maybe a roadside farm stand? For now a truck driver uses this as a place to park the cab of his truck while he is visiting or home for a night or two.
who knows? I do see signs of progress in front of me. Those men that look through those scopes, they colored the ground in front of me with orange paint. I fear I am going to become a scrap heap soon, looks like no fresh vegetables to be sold from under my roof.

Something happened when uploading this, it said my exif date was to big. I think I may not have changed the right settings because the photo looks fuzzy.

Hi Laura, this is an excellent photo. I don't see the fuzziness you do because it looks 'old-timey' and fuzziness is fine for the way you've presented this. TFS.

hi, laura
things change along with us... this image reminds me the fine music of muddy waters and mississippi fred mcdowell, music which is long buried now, but not dead - not to all of us. we'll keep changing and things will do the same with us - it's called "world". thanks
wish you all the best,
cal

if you have problems of that sort, save images WITHOUT exif data from your program.

Hello Laura,

I like the perspective and the subject very much. A good choice to B&W. You placed an nice lead in line coming from the lower left taking the viewer through the scene. Was this shot in the B&W mode on the camera? If so you will get better results shooting everything in color then converting to black and white in your post processing.

Love your notes!

Love and Peace Always
Kevin
