the slowly rippling water distorts the vertical piles much as heat waves would.
the colours of sunrise contrast well with the blues of sky and water. The distant hills and nearby posts are nearly black at this time of day.

Hi John: Beautifully photographed image. The colors are wonderful. Kudos for not wrapping it in a frame! This peaked my interest from the thumbnail view as it at first seemed to have a framework of wood around the posts above but not in the reflection. The horizon line in the background gave me this impression.

The object in the lower right that is not in focus distracts a little, but you obviously don't want to crop this out as you would lose an important part of the picture by doing so. Good capture.
