[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Continuing on my flower theme, here is another flower from the Dahlia family, this time in pink. This was also at the Butchart Gardens in Victoria, BC. Cropped, adjusted levels slightly and added the frame.

hi again, another great shot, nice tight cropping, excellent colors and composition, i have always found the dahlia to be so photogenic, well done, thanks scott

I love the colour of the plant - it's very eye-catching and soft. The composition works very well especially if you consider that it's a square. I like the white highlights of the petals and the focus on them. What I'm not so keen on, however, is the frame... With so much of that shade already in the imageitself, I think the frame is over-the-top and distracting. A simple white one would have been classy and subtle. Nevertheless, the image itself is wonderful.
