this plant has the ability to be very slippery that's why water just slide to its leave and only a bit of moisture is left and when the early sunlight hits the leaf there is this explosion of colors as if the color of the leaf are neon's.

hi joel,
ang ganda ng 'caladium'. parang neon nga. i planted quite a few varieties of caladium last summer in my backyard, and they were really awesome and provided me with much pleasure. these plants are showstopper, the flowers called spadix are also attractive and resemble calla lilies. however, as i did not have time to dig them up before frost, i don't think they will come back next spring. yes, water slides from their foliage - a phenomenon of high surface tension. maligayang pasko 'bro. danilo
