[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
These boats seem to echo the general attitude of Kenya and its populace (except at election time)! Laid back - all in good time, or as they say in Swahili - poli-poli.
I wish you all good light and a happy new year.
Focal length 230mm (actual - 345mm). Exposure -0.7 ev.

Extremely good perspective on the seascape and teh mood seen. Alone in a world of water a single man walks out into the sea.!

Hi Vic,
Wow, what a great photo !! I don't know why, but I like it very much.
Great colors and sharpness. Very good compo.
greetings,
Joop!

Hi Vic. "poli-Poli"...."Slowly, slowly". I know this place well and it's a miracle ANYTHING ever gets done. Mind you, the beach traders work hard - they'd make ideal double-glazing reps if only they knew what double-glazing was...

Beautiful shot. Slightly messy composition but, I suspect, deliberately so - to show the higgledy-piggledy of daily life on the Mombasan coast.

Been there (and on safari) twice and would love to go back again - when the dust settles. What is it with elections at the moment....?

Kind regards and best wishes for 2008. Paul.

hi Vic
wonderful colours, and the man is a good bonus
very nice POV you show here, thanks

Now this one IMOP seems a little messy Vic, to be honest I don't know where to look and the subjects seem so small .
