|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|This is the view from the summit of Mt. Rudragyaria (5818m). It is a trekking peak. I summited at 7.00am. The light was against my lens. It was a very difficult exposure.|
It takes around 4-5 hours to summit the peak from the summit camp.
Mt Rudragyaria is situated in the Garhwal Himalayas. The nearest roadhead is Gangotri. It takes 2 days to reach base camp. Then summit camp and summit the following day. Many people summit from base camp, but the climb is very strenuous and one cannot enjoy the view as later on during the day and the clouds engulf the valley. It takes another day to return to Gangotri. It is better to have a days rest at base camp which is at 4500m to acclimatize.
I have not reduced the blue tone as it give me the cold feeling that I felt up there. The cold wind across my face.

I like the colors and light.
This is a splendid shot! Very beautiful panorama of the mountains. I, like you, love the blues you have retained.

Je ne connaissais pas ta galerie... Un grand bravo, ces vues sont époustouflantes, et un grand sentiment de liberté et des couleurs superbes.
