Again no tripod, so had to use ISO 800 to reduce blur. The whole thing lasted only ten minutes, so quite nerve wrecking changing lenses and finding right settings.

a good moment captured, you were brave to stay there and shoot this. The sepia tones work well and the grain adds drama to this dangerous weather.
Jacline

Well composed and certainly very dramatic, you get a real sense of the power of nature from this shot. Excellent stuff, Nico.

Excellent capture, Nico. Scary!

looks like you managed very well, not mentioning the circumstances.
Even the composition looks well prepared. Maybe you should be a photo reporter if you can produce results like this under pressure?

szablak

Good moment ...
Very dramatic..

WOW!

Nico this is very impressive. Gives a real sense of maother nature's energy and mood. The monochrome works well here and highlights the swirling debris very effectively.

Great POV across this boat in the FG...an altogether superb photo.

Congrats and TFS...

Hello Nico.
I call this a STUNNING image.!
Wow, what nature can do. Luckly in Holland we dont have them here, however storms upto 10 are rather commom here in wintertime.
At first februari 1953 we had the big disaster. Dikes broke through and over 1800 people got drowned.
Thanks for showng it here.
Regards from Jan
