[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Coming out those many chimneys is the steam from paper production, this is Domtar, in Windsor, Quebec, Canada, the biggest paper company in the province.

When the workers take a break, they let out the steam from those cimneys at right, which gives a pretty imposing cloud of smoke and the smell travels a long way, even to where I live when the wind is coming this way....and this is more than 30 km away.....

Here I tried to capture and show the imposing cloud of steam

Very nice capture. Excellent colors and exposure. It would have been easy to overexpose this, with all that white.

Well composed.

I am surprise that environment does not call this pollution.
That is a lot of steam and normally the odor coming from those are not the most pleasant.
Good shot

Hi jacline, paper making plants do have a distinctive smell.

Great composition showing all the steam, sharp good colours.

Nice photo but a little disturbing. So much smoke! Good shot, saturated colours. I like winter landscapes.
