Tibetan men at the Potala
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|Three Tibetan men I have passed at the Potala, the home of the Dalai Lama. The Dalai Lama is the head of the Tibetan Buddhist religion. He has lived in exile in India for over 50 years. He wishes to see his homeland once more before he dies, but it is under Chinese military occupation. He is a winner of the Nobel Peace prize, for his efforts to bring world peace. (The Tibetans usually speak no English, so as here, I can only show their faces, not their thoughts.)|
