"Mr Cane Gets His Walking Papers"
This is such a funny image! Me clomping way down the road, chasing after the elusive squirrel :) or bit of mist.
Great composition, nicely set up on the thirds line
TFS and Thanks for your good wishes and prayers today
Fab shot of Silke, adhering to all the skills you know! Great pov, good lead in line, blurred b/g, sharp image ...!
I'm wishing her well in my thoughts too!
I wonder if she took her camera into the theatre with her! Smile please, I want a record of this op!
Have a lovely day,
I like the composition with Silke on the side as main point while the rest are in BW (almost) . .
Great observation and come with this lovely shot . .
Your neighbor is Silke this time . .

Brrr! I hate snow. Betcha you're glad Houston never looks like this! Good contrast, between the colorful red jacket & almost entirely b&w bg. 'Silke' has good taste in winter attire! Tfs!

Absolutely excellent, what a superb idea for Silke and one that she will be able to look back to and smile at when shes running off to take some new pics.
TFS regards Helen

Very nice remember when shot. ;0)
One of my neighbors and friends had both knees done and he's now unstoppable, so I fully expect that to be the case here given the start you describe.
Other than the memories, I really like the placement of the various components of this image, really adds to the feeling and a good thing for me to keep in my head.
Good job again, thanks for sharing,

this is a beautiful Photo. A great composition with a great mood.
A very good picture, and I had to laugh at Silke's comment "chasing after the elusive squirrel..." It will be great when this surgery is behind her. Yep, I'm praying.

So you have captured "Mr. Cane" too hahahahahaha...great shot of dear Silke, nice how you captured the contrast of the red jack and white snow. Presenting in the black frame is great too. Get well soon Silke!
Whe do you post a selfportrait in swimsuit of yourself?

Of course she will be OK.
There's nothing to stop her.
We will ALL wish her the best in recoveries.
Like this partial desaturation.

Its been so chilly for the past week I thought for a minute there was snow till I saw the date it was taken.
Can we call this an action shot?
Great job of capturing it.
Been there and done that with the knee operation. The first walk was ouchy but after that a stiff legged gait for a while. Excellent red Linda, well composed and good focus. My youngest step daughter gave me a hiking pole for Christmas last year one of those which can be adjusted to use as a cane. TFS,
