Hi Pierre,
This is very attractive. I also grow irises in my backyard but not this sumptuous looking variety. The petals look like an old-fashioned petticoat. I look forward to seeing more of Diana's flowers. Greetings, Danilo

Bonjour Pierre, je n'ai jamais vu d'iris dores, comme ils sont beau. Quelque part, cela me fait penser a la couleur des lions.
Belle image nette ou l'accent est mis sur la fleur, meme si la profondeur de champ est grande. Car je crois qu'ici la verdure ne derange pas trop. Elle complete tres bien grace a la complementarite des couleurs.
Tres beau jardin.
Et attention aux coups de chaleur sur le toit. On veut te garder en sante :)

Lovely colour and detail Pierre. This one works well centrally placed and the framing again is well done. From freezing your posterior off to perspiring madly. Wear a hat, long sleeves and some sunscreen :).

Merci Pierre pour cette photo d'iris. Un "broken color", comme disent les anglophones. Plutôt réussi ! Connais tu la variété ? Il fût un temps où les hybrideurs jetaient ces iris au compost, les classant parmi les monstres. Heureusement pour celui-ci, les temps changent, et ils sont plutôt à la mode ces dernières années.
