Great shot. Love the dog in the foreground. The darkness of the water makes the animal stand out. Overall excellent composition. I can relate to dogs in the water, my son has a large Lab, who loves to swim in the backwaters of the Bay area in SF.

This then must be Buddy enjoying himself.
A beautiful poëm by Robert Frost and a beautiful picture to illustrate it by Tom O'Donnell.
Lovely how the sun illuminates the other side of the lake and the gently unduleting landscape.

I just commented on your morgan horses, that is not gunner paddling around but obviously having a great time.
A good rendition of the fall colours against this deep blue.
Nice PP work

Superb autumn scene, I like a lot the distant rusty, red and yellow trees contrasting with the blue, clear water with its textures and reflections. I also like the autumn light--the trees are lighted, the lake is in shadow. The swimming dog is a funny, welcome bonus. Lucky dog--he can go for a walk in that beautiful landscape....

Oh a dog in the lake! That is something that I have meant to do but not yet taking any action to take my dog to the sea side.
And to swim in such a scenic view of the landscape here, blue sky, autumn colors. A great shot.

Is this Buddy turning into a dolphin?
A very well composed shot with the lake edge acting as a guide to lead the eyes round the shot.
I particularly like how the sunshine is touching the vegetation at the far end, turning it into gold. This makes a great contrast with the near side which is very much in shadow.

On top of poetry you compose nice framings, my friend!!
An expression of serenity is convied in this pastoral scenery taken early in the morning.
The swimming "delphinapterus leucas" completes the thin circular line of shore for an attractive setup.
