[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
After our visit to a Berber troglodyte house, our tour guide made another stop in the outskirts of Matmata, where we could admire the Jebel desert landscape.

This desert is totally different to the Sahara, but also very beautiful. Whereas the Sahara is a 'sand desert', the Jebel is a 'stone desert'.

Tech talk

Not much time before the sun would set... still, I left the b+w polariser on the lens to get the most out of the contrast.

Adjustment layers for levels (minor tweak) and curves (a slight S shape for even more contrast).

Cropped in a more panoramic looking format, suitable for landscapes like this.

Downsized, sharpened and framed with a couple of home-tailored PS actions.

Dus iets minder groothoek ? ( en minder schaduw aan rechterzijde ? )
Zou dit iets zijn voor B/W ...

Hi
Great landscape! Lovely forms of the moutains and contrasts with the sun's shadow!
Good POV!

Soit fijn landschap.

Good morning Frank -
First of all i want to thank you for visiting my page and for the workshop of my photo REFLECTIONS/LOGO. I really appreciate your very honest opinion and suggestions which are very helpful to me. Thanks again for everything.
In this photo, you have a wonderful presentation of a fantastic desert landscape. Your focus here is excellent as i can see a lot of good details of the desert. The shadow looks great and your panoramic looking format is fantastic! Good work Frank!

TFS,
Pedro
