Hi Hans, nice shot, great feeling of depth, I like the amount of sky you have included with the ground giving the picture a good base. Lovely and sharp. The ground is looking velvety brown in the summer heat. cheers,

Very lovely summer colours here Hans, and the brown grass shows us how hot and dry it is.
The colours of the sea and sky all blend in together.

Dan valt de temperatuur hier flink tegen hè?
Heerlijke kleurige plaat is dit met een bijzonder mooi standpunt en prima compo. En ja, dat 'vogeltje' is de slagroom op deze lekkere taart.
Kijk wel uit dat je niet teveel verscherpt.

Is this shot representative of your feelings;
a free spirit soaring high above the everyday aspirations of the world!

The pov and the focus on the bird, certainly has a wonderful, uplifting feeling on the viewer. It has just made me realise, again, the power of the photograph.

Did you pinch Janices Canon for this shot Hans... cos its rather sharp..lol..

Ohhhhh I see it looking a bit too brown... very dry and hot looking...It was 37 deg C in that region today.

Wonderful composition here Hans, and I love that Gannet flying past...great shot.

Prachtige natuurfoto Hans. De compositie is goed en je pov goed gekozen. De vogel is hier inderdaad de blikvanger.
Wat een geluksvogel :)) is dat toch, elke dag maar dat mooie uitzicht hebben...

An incredible shot Hansie! If it's summer there, why isn't the grass green? Is this north? Or upside down north? Was it cold there? I love the huge view and the bird is an added bonus!

PRACHTIG!!! Wat heb je die vogel er mooi en scherp opgekregen!!!
Een prachtig tafereeltje met verschillende kleuren bruin en verschillende kleuren blauw.
Erg mooi!
Ik zie wel wat ruis op de blauwe kleuren? Komt dat door het verscherpen??
Het blijft een prachtige plaat!

Hi Hans, Your flying photos both feathered and titanium are always inspiring to see, and this is another very well composed and delivered image. The capture of the bird in this fram sets off the natural beauty of this wild coast. TFS. Murray.

Greetings Hans,perfect point of view to shoot this landscape,
very strong image,I really like the single gannet,just balances off the scene perfectly. I'm a little surprised at the lack of greenery in the hillside,was it just the wrong time of year or is this the areas year round colouring??

Awesome work Hans. Beautiful saturation and light, superb sharpness throughout the frame (and aperture of only f/5.6) and perfect placement of the soaring gannet.
