Great view Hans - well exposed to give the correct whiteness of the snow!! Nice compo with the glacier bottom left leading up to the peak on top right!!
Sounds like a great heli ride..
Cheers

hi Hans
You are a lucky guy to fly in planes, helicopters and everything with wings in NZ; except with your own wings :)
Very impressive perspective view of the mountains that really make NZ so popular in a movie. Well composed shot.

Nice shot of the summit Hans, you were lucky with the weather alright.
Your pic shows where 10 metres fell off the peak on the 14th December 1991.
Back to work for a rest????
Cheers,
Pete.

Wow, what a spectacular shot Hans. Most of us will never see a glacier, let along from this vantage point. Stunning scenery!

Ziet er zeer hoog uit, waarschijnlijk geen of amper bergbeklimmers daar. Fijne compositie en knappe expositie.

What a killer view!! Your detail in this shot is amazing considering shooting through the airplane glass, or were you hanging out the window? Good job Hansie! I love how you can see the blue of the ice in some areas!

This gets a 'wow' from me Hans.
In a lifetime spent in NZ I have never seen Aoraki Mt Cook like this with my own eyes, I envy you the experience.
Colour temp seems a little yellow to me, I would've boosted the blues perhaps in this, but wow what a sight!

Haven't you made a walk there???
Why not? Looks very pretty and soft there ;-)
Hi Hans, this mountains are impressive, and you were flying very close to the summit, that's amazing, looks as if you realy were standing on a higher summit to make the shot.
Thanks and greetings

Hello Hans, it is hard to believe that this is taken through the 'glass' of the helicopter, it is so sharp and clear.
Excellent composition.
You were very lucky to be able to experience the view from such a height.
Tfs, regards Jean.

How exciting Hans.
It isn't often we get to see photos taken up here on Mt Cook - and the clouds stayed away for you to take this photo. It must be quite thrilling to be this close to the highest point in New Zealand.
It certainly doesn't look like it's a smooth climb up there on foot!
Superb capture - wish I'd been there with you,
Janice
