Mount Cook ahead

While climbing to about 11.000 feet mount Cook, the highest mountain in New Zealand was straight forward of the helicopter.

It was an awesome view, and a great ride.

Nyah Nyah! I'm first! This is wonderful Hansie! The windows of the airplane just is a perfect frame for this fantastic view! I hope you weren't the pilot!! Playing around with the camera while the plane flew itself!
Nice work!

Hello Hans, The shot makes me feel like I want to duck, dodge or hide. It puts the viewer right in the cockpit. Beautiful colors. Congrats on a great shot.

Hi Hans, What a terrific view point! I must say, this is one stunning view from the helicopter. The headsets make an interesting addition to the composition as does the frame from the window.

Glad you were able to make the journey Hans. I'm enjoying your NZ photos. Lisa

Composición muy atractiva con unas altas montañas muy esbeltas y cielo perfecto...saludos

Stunning view Hans, dramatic frame, good exposure, both inside the chopper and the mountain.
Who was flying, the bloke on the right, or the blonde co-pilot ;)
Re the height of Aoraki Mount Cook, it was 12,349ft until 1991 when 10,000,000m³ fell off, it now only 12,316ft high. I thought you would like to know that.
Pete.

neat post, man to be air born like this must have been amazing, nice capture,

Hello Hans !

Geee, Hans you have access EVERYWHERE (^_^). Did you Highjack it to get such a priviledge ? LOL !

You are sharing images of places of New Zealand that most Kiwis never had an opportunity to view themselves LOL! Thanks for sharing those thrilling moments. Great view, taken between the pilot and Copilot.
Sincerely,

Robert
