I'm an early riser, so a big fan of sunrises ... and this looks like such a perfect place to watch the sunrise. Beautiful colors in the sky, reflected onto the wet sand. The waves rolling in and the birds are a bonus. Great shot Hans.

Hoi Hansie! Beautiful day eh? Nice work, there is alot of noise in the sky. I was wondering what your ISO was. I'm surprised you used F11. I probably would have used F7.1, to raise the shutter speed higher, to freeze the clouds and birds more, but also to let in more light. The sky has a lot of purple in it. Oh well that is my critique for the Big Green, don't hate me!

Hallo Hans,
Dit is een schitterende weergave van het (bijna) altijd mooie ochtendlicht.
De gouden gloed in de lucht en in de weerspiegeling is prachtig.
Opvallend mooie wolken"straten", die van linksboven naar rechts onder lopen.
Héél bijzondere plaat.

un peintre n'aurait pas fait un PP si beau et une vue plus merveilleuse de cette plage que ta photographie de la N-Z. J'aime tout simplement ce que tu fais.
Bravo pour les silhouettes des mouettes du soleil doré, les arbres qui se devinent sur la plage en sombre, les nuages.

Hi Hans. Na dat ik de opname bij ruud had gezien is deze net zo indruk wekkend als die van ruud. prachtige kleuren en sterke compositie. Je hoort het ruizen van de zee.

Gorgeous sunrise.The colors really give it a nice, warm feel. I like that there are a few gulls enjoying breakfast. Did you feed them to get them in the photo? :) The clouds are interesting the way they are angled. Beautiful sunrise you have captured.
