[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
These two horses were police horses at a show called 'Operation Patriot' in a Rochester Park when we were visiting a friend in Rochester. The special day consisted of military bands, shows of military equipment, parade of firemen and police, etc. It was in honour of the men who lost their lives at the 9/11 tradegy. The horses were waiting patiently for their riders to mount and patrol around the area. I liked the colours of them and took these shots.
Two photos taken separately and merged - they were actually standing quite close together but i had taken the original shots individually and wanted to show their colours together.

Hi Joan,
I love this! They do look beautiful together, and I just love the frame you added to focus on their heads,
great job!

Hi Joan

I like the symmetry of the 2 horses, & the opposing brown & black colors. Excellent sharpness & lighting. Well done!

You did a great job on combining the two photos Joan. I would have never have known had you not written about in your notes. The colour of the horses are lovely. They looked well cared for. Both are great shots by themselves. Well done on the PP work.

Excellent stitching job, Joan. Or did you select one horse and put that layer on top of the other picture ?
Either way, this is a great picture. As you said, nice colours and they sure look like pals ;o). TFS.
