|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
I posted this photo not for the image but for the story behind it. This plant (in Flemish called 'Gagel') was used a few years ago to brew the very special beer 'Gageleer'. It grows in swamps and has a very peculiar smell (and taste!). Some people like it, some don't. Very adequate for extreme hangovers!
Since it is a local beer, it can be bought in a few bars only. But good news for all of you: I've been told that in the near future it will conquer other parts of the world. Stay on the lookout for 'Gageleer'!
