Amazing indeed - vast and spectacular and a great testiment to the age of the earth and the aeons that have shaped it.
Well captured, this gives a great sense of the immensity.
I have to agree, this is very beautiful. I love the jagged lines of the rocks and the warm red color is amazing. I am missing the real sharpness but that is obvious when shooting a pretty wide angle with an aperture of 4.5
BTW, this was not shot with your Nikon, but with your Leica.

Beautiful viewpoint, you went after the depth and not the width. The shadows of the clouds broke the monotony of the mountains. I like it very much.

I was up here earlier this month and I agree that it is one of the most spectacular vistas in the state. I think I have a shot from the same vantage point.
