You may want to edit the 'Tango' to Tongariro. Ive been here in 1981 & this is without doubt a superb capture. Good colour, perfect sharpness & nice punchy, light contrasts. Tfs!

Hi Hans ... what a beautiful country, I would so much like to go there again one day this time with a camera! Lovely wild mountain colours set off by that bright blue sky, the rocks provide interest, the stream adds depth and the mountain snow balances the white water.

Heerlijk Hans.. prachtige lucht en een geweldig uitzicht...
zo wil ik ook wel weer eens wandelen..
Het landschap heeft zo wel iets weg van Noorwegen....
zelfs de vormen van de door het water en ijs uitgesleten rotsen... prachtig.

I really like the PoV here - it gives one a context for what is a very fine scene -- puts the viewer in the frame

Terrific shot here Hans, compositional placement of the waterfall and the distant volcanic peak are textbook perfect and the light really worked for you here.

Ahh you have been watching Trampas! This is a classic Trampas shot, wonderful details, love how the water swings around, perfect lead in line to the mountain! Beautiful!

From the top of the mountain, The spring begin, let the snow melt and falling into a beautiful brook. Appointed selection of deep of field. I like the natural colors.

Hello Hans
My summer destination is going to be either the Tongariro crossing or the Abel Tasman national park, although my preference would be late winter to do the crossing to maximise the snowfall. It looks superb, the mountain range against the tiny fall, with the vegetation that does exist here for some reason. The deep blue sky is a treat.
Did you see the emerald lakes?

Nice balanced composition with the river in diagonal to the mountain.

The low POV in relation to the river, helps to give dimension to the shot.
