[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
My contribution to the Friday water theme.

I took this back in 2006 with my D70s and Sigma lens. Just took a natural shot and didn't try to freeze the water. It is the top section of Owharoa Falls, there are plenty of shots on TL of the full veiw of the falls so this is a little different.

Thanks for looking.

Hi Ralph,
Really nice composition with this, good low PoV with nice depth to it. TFS

I like the way your compositional approach to this "pushes" the eye up towards the very top of the frame, to explore the foliage and water pooled beyond the waterfall.
Nice work

Hi Ralph,

Very nice view of the falls, I like how you've used the shrubbery to frame them. Very sharp and the shutter speed creates a good sense of flow in the water.

Werner

Hello Ralph

nicely taken but I would prefer a slower shutter speed, to give more blurry effect to water fall.

Hello Ralph - Excellent POV and DOF! Good use of shutter speed which stops the water just enough.

Hello Ralph,

A fine shot of the falls.
I prefer to see them gushing rather than turned silky with a slow shutter sped.
Your pov, with the water cascading towards the camera, is well chosen for interest.
Your sharpness and details are very well captured.

Have a good w/e,
Bev :-)

Hola , buen encuadre de esta cascada que transmite gran dinamismo del movimiento del agua
Buen trabajo
un saludo
buen fin de semana
