This is a look that most of us guys know well ;))

This is my nephew Jeff and his lovely bride Laura at their reception this past July. Iíve wanted to post this for a while, but didnít see them again until Christmas to get their OK. I took this with the onboard flash unit, so the lighting isnít great. This was just a capture of one of those moments that doesnít come around in life all that often. And I usually donít have a camera in my hand when it does. Don't let the look fool you, Laura is one of the kindest, sweetest young ladies one could hope to meet.

I donít remember all of the pp work I did, but I know that I cropped it slightly and reduced gamma to take away some of the flash effect.

Thanks for your visit and have a great Sunday.

Hello Werner - Excellent shot. The direct flash captures her eyes, a bounce flash might have buried it in a shadow.
Have a good day,

Hello Werner,

I hope your nephew Jeff is not in trouble...Yes I am sometimes clueless with this look interpretation but they seem seems happy, coquettish, and sincere to me. An image that will likely be cherished by the couple. Happy new year!

Hi, Werner. Looks like a very tender moment most likely it is love and affection. Nice capture of this beautiful moment from a interesting angle with good depth of field, colors and sharpness. Cheers and TFS.

Hi Werner,

A beautiful protrait from the Newly married couple 'in love'!
I like the great expressions on the face of the bride. her glowig face and soft skin, add great impact into this picture. Great sharpness and perfect POV, you have achieved in this shot, my friend!
Have a good day!

best regards,

Hi Werner!

This is funny! This looks as if he had just copped a feel.:) I got a good chuckle out of it.

Hey, I read a good tip about flashes. When forced to use direct flash, place a tissue over flash to diffuse it. I thought it made sense to me.

I always enjoy a good chuckle, so thanks for posting this!

HI Werner
He is smiling so its no "that" special look where you see the barrel of a shotgun in the eyes. This looks more like "Not in front of the guest"

Funny not just women use that look, John is quite good at it.

That is a cute and well done shot.
I presume someday you will know what the look meant.
