[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photo of a man and his horse was taken along Ongpin Street, in Binondo, Manila. To our foreigner friends, it is simply called 'Chinatown'.

The man is feeding his horse after a long day of hauling goods and passengers around Old Manila. He actually saw our group from across the street, shouted out pleasantries and I took the shot. I started prefocusing before he called us so it was just a little giffy when I took the shot.

The best thing was I got the man while he was smiling.

One last interesting piece of note is I almost always shoot colored film. But I decided to process this one after I received the file from the print shop. BnW just gives that air of nostalgia, don't you think?

interesting black and white photo of one of the trademarks in Philippine history. this was different because at this age where most of the photographers are using digital SLRs you still managed to shoot this beautiful photo in film. i congratulate you for that! thanks for sharing!
