|The Aerospatiale Alouette III is asingle engine, light utility helicopter developed by Sud Aviation and later manufacturd by Aerospatiale of France.|
The first version flew on 28 February 1959 and entered service in the French Armed forces in 1960.
The Alouette III served in the South African Air Force fore more than 45 years.
The aircraft in the image is based at Swartkops AFB, Pretoria and is maintained by the SAAF Museum.

Hi Ben, Again a nice capture of this Heli, the same kinda helis fly in our country they are under use of PAK ARMY.....one thing i like to suggest, if u increase the exposure time i think u,ll get this shot with blured blades which will look more perfect....TFS

Another fine and sharp shot Ben.
perfect light and a beautifully sharp image.
Excellent natural colours and crisp tones.
I know exactly how you feel swapping shutter speeds form fast jets to slower turbine driven aircraft, but you got just enough movement in the rotors to show motion.
