The border

A view of the border between Namibia and Botswana, the Baobab trees are part of the landscape and the Chobe river flows here into Botswana. The rain had just passed and better weather was up hand.

Hope you enjoy the view as I did...

PP work: shot in Raw, adjusted brightness, contrast and clarity, converted to jpeg, adjusted levels, curves and saturation, used USM for sharpening, resized and resharpened again, add frame.

Hello dear Hans!

A great shottttt! Very superb composition and wonderful DOF. Nice tones specially the cloud formations are great with moody atmosphere! The tree is looking nice in FG and creates more depth!

TFS, indeed a wonderful shot!

Hi Hans,
Nice shot with great depth to it, the tree is well positioned and makes a great focal point. Best wishes
Bri

This gets a wow. What a shot! Composition is terrific and I love that cinematic frame. Light, detail are superb.

There is a slight glimpse of a lighter sky between the branches and leaves of the baobab, but it's a minor thing.

Amazing.

Hi Hans
This is one time when I find that large frames does something for the presentation which is real good.
Like when squinting the eyes you really get the depth and beauty.
