Hello Detlef,

This lovely flower has great potential but sadly, somehow it doesn't quite work. I really would like to help and have studied it hard. Perhaps its very central position makes it lose power, or possibly the very light b/g top/right looks a little oe.
Anyway, I have done a w/s to try to counteract these possibilities. I hope you are not offended by me changing your original.
Please tell me what you think.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Ciao Detlef

Beautiful colours and fine details!
The tight framing works well to emphasis the subject,
DoF spot on isolates the delicate flower well from
the background...

Greetings,

Sergio

Hi Detlef,

What a nice macro shot you're presenting us.
A nice tight crop with a fine POV.

The warm colors are very beautiful and the light conditions are well managed.
Very nice sharp details here and a wonderful shallow DoF BG.
Congrats and TFS.

Have a nice WE,
scubli
