Back in business

Today the KLM Cityhopper operation has been resumed after a forced five day operational silence due the volcanic ash thread in Western Europe.

Took this picture of a KLM B777 "chasing" a KLM MD11 after take off.

PP work: shot in raw, converted to jpeg, adjusted levels and curves, cropped, resized, sharpened using USM and add frame.

Hello Hans,
Looks like airlines are back on their routine if temporarily , but sincerely i am looking forward to a return to normal soon as companies need to make money to compensate for their huge losses , i for one am happy to se them back in the sky where they belong , i particularly find the two planes well positioned in your frame , i find the blue part of the sky a promise of better days to come , hopefully , i kind of like your idea of 'chasing ' here as they do have a lot to catch up with indeed , thanks neighbor for sharing this ,

go !

Hi Hans,
Good to see the traffic goes on!
The POV is particularly interesting, here.
The two planes illustrate so well this back in business, despite de big clouds still there!
Excellent focus and rendering of tones. We can capture the movement in the airs!
Bravo! Annie

Yes, we hear that the flights are back in action. Good news for all. But I read in our local papers that the latest news is that the grounding of the planes was a bit 'over-kill'. But better to be safe than sorry...
Good shot Hans with the 2 planes in the scene together. I like how they are both heading in different directions - just as well!
Love the clouds too

Hi Hans, Well balanced simple and fully effective image well timed to perfection. The angle of the climbing jets is ideal for lift-off status of the industry. TFS. Murray.

Hello Hans.
Well spotted and well presented planes taking off at Schiphol. Dramatic sky and planes looks very interesting with the volcanic story last few days.
Best regards.
