[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Good Day friends,

Came back this morning from the Sunny Riviera Maya. A two week break, where Martine and me did simply relax for our entire stay. No excursion outside the resort this year . Actually read bricks (^_^) ( books ), enjoying the sun, or hiding at times when we had showers. A true pleasure. I took a few shots during our stay. .

Here this young lady was looking around some artcrafts on display. Actually beside this one , you could buy raw mouldings, and could paint them yourself. It was a pouplar activity for children and parents.

Here I composed the shot like a Tic Tac Toe. Three vertical zones and three horizontal ones enhanced by the shelves. Colorful display. At the time of this shot it was very dark since we were just about to get a shower. The flash was required. The towel was useful too, to censor the unknown lady, but adding charm to the scene.

What a cheerful, well composed collection of pottery! Add a pretty lady and you have a winner, but you already know that.

Très contente que vous ayez eu un bon séjour à Playa del Carmen. J'espère que vous avez fait le plein d'énergie.
Excellente composition, comme tu dis en tic tac toe. Il y a un bel équilibre non seulement des plans mais aussi des couleurs. J'aime la ligne courbe des assiettes qui fait contrepoint à la verticalité de la serviette bleue sur l'épaule de cette jeune femme. Ces primaires, bleu, rouge, jaune sont vraiment attrayantes. L'image est nette et habilement structurée et sans trace du flash. Bravo!

Hi, Robert. The corful mostly warm composition contrasts nicely with the cool colors of the lady's clothes. Her pose also adds to the visual impact. The sharpness and presentation suit the photo. Cheers.

Yes, this is a beautifully composed shot.
The thirds rule is very evident.

The images are sharp and encourage the viewer to linger, to absorb all the details - for there is much to see.
The colours and subject produce the 'holiday mood' which I'm sure you enjoyed.

Hi Robert,
Nice colors in this well balanced capture of the woman dressed in blue choosing the suvenirs in such variety of colors.
A very sharp presentation with a whole lot to be admired.
The black frame fits O.K., it closes this marvel quite adequately.

Salut Robert! C'est bon de te retrouver! Superbe composition, avec cette jolie jeune femme bien placée devant ce bel étallage d'objets colorés! Une bien belle image. Avec ce manque de lumière tu as du prendre une grande ouverture et la faible profondeur de champs n'a pu te donner une aussi bonne netteté sur la femme que sur l'étallage. Du beau travail!
