[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the entrance to the stables at the Haining in Selkirk, there are no horses anymore and the buildings were converted to flats many years ago. I think that it a very interesting looking building the rear part that faces the loch is curved and has arches similar to the ones that are bricked up in this shot. If anyone visits Selkirk then the Haining Estate is well worth a visit.

Hi Jon,
Nice PoV and good time of day for this shot, the shadows are long on the ground and the light is good but I think a higher ISO would have frozen the trees better and given you a sharper shot at the 1/50 mark. Good colours and depth. Best wishes
Bri

hi Jon one of these shots the right hand side is good the left is soft personelly i think i tighter crop would have helped with 2 much grass in the front i would have went for the pamoramic look i got a couple from the back of the stables so might uplaod them this week sometime

Hi Jon ,
you subject is very beautiful, your POV is well chosen with nice lower one,the colors and tones are lovely,a little issue of focus and sharpness.

dear Jon,
wow...
your splendid view shot of the beautiful entrance building,
classic design and colors of stones are excellent and tasteful,
it is so still and settled indeed,
fore curved road and striped lighted green yard are effective to show this gate more stable,
thank you for your wonderful shot,
Akihisa
