|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|Today I wanted to try out the macro capability of the 50-500 at 210 mm which gives 1:3.1 Magnification at this focal length which is quite respectable for such a lens. I was actually quite amazed by the detail and sharpness of this lens at capturing both macro and telephoto shots. Any comments welcome and thanks for viewing...|

You are very true in your title description, Dilshan!
I must congratulate on doing such a great job here, by capturing such a lovely macro capture from a cute skipper and the details on the flowers are amazing.
The sharpness and POV are well done. The colors are nice.
your title here is perfect, they are realy tiny wonders ... I also had the great luck to see a skipper yesterday, will show it in the next days. Very good sharpness, realy excellent with that lens.
Also brilliant colours, thanks

I am sorry I have not seen one of these in real life but by the two previous critiques the skipper must be a small butterfly and the flower must also be small. Beautiful detail and colours, I think on the strength of this shot I will be seriously looking at the Sigma for my kit. Best wishes

What a great macro shot of this Skipper butterfly.
The POV and positioning in frame is just great.
Very good light conditions to show these vivid colors, creating a nice golden effect on the butterfly.
Very good shallow DoF to highlight even more the main subject.
Congrats and TFS.
Very nice shot - beautiful sharp detail, the lens did well as did you. Possibly a touch over-sharpened in places but that's minor.
Hi Dilshan..nicely composed shot. Your sharp subject with the nicely blurred background works well.
