An unplanned opportunity that presented itself as difused afternoon light attractively lit these books I had been reading. Set to macro.

Hi, Yes I like this. Seems very peaceful and quiet. Love the golden colour of the worn book. Good work. Regards, Phil Q

tres jolie macro bien contrastée

Nice shot, love the yellowing pages of the older book. The clarity of the text and shadow cast across the open book give a definate relaxed mood to the image.

It's good to see the contrast. One book seems to be very old compare to the other! We see the usure of the first one. Good light balance. I like the old books look ingeneral. Have the feeling to touch a part of history when a can see a book older then the sixties by exemple!

The old book has photographed well Rod, and looks interesting reading too, especially with the Handbook/ Study Guide to help you along. The composition and lighting works well together. Well done.

The light, composition and overall quality make this stand out.
