False Bay view

|False Bay view|
A view from Cape Point at the Cape peninsula near Cape Town. The misty mountains in the far distance are the mountains of the Western Cape province with names like: Platberg (Flat mountain), Perdeberg (Horse mountain) and Spitsberg (Pointed mountain). Anyway I tried to create a blurred background to enhance the vegetation on the foreground without spoiling the vague silhouettes of the mountains in the distance.
PP work, adjusted levels, curves, brightness and contrast (all just minor), leveled horizon :-) cropped, resized, sharpened using USM and finally add frame.

Nice vague Bay view and inclusion of f/g efficiently. Loved the strike of light on plant which has shown eye catching colors.
The foggy/misty b/g adds to the view.
Nice capture and well presented
Good Morning Hans,
You really have achieved your objective with this shot; the f/g is beautifully lit, sharp and with the tall twig perfectly positioned in the frame. It creates a strong contrast with the very useful b/g which is, as you hoped, blurred and moody.
Have a lovely day,

A beautiful landscape photo. Your foreground has nice lighting, single flower stands out while the bg has a good misty mood to it. I like your chosen POV on this. Well done and TFS Julie
Well done .
The light on the leaves and the misty BG are beautiful capture .

I adore the atmosphere of this photo! Especially the focus on the sunny branch in foreground. With the foggy background, this creates a superb contrast.
Excellent composition, the flowered slope in foreground enhances the depth of the image.
Excellent work, my friend! Annie
