Well seen, nicely positioned and good exposures...
at ISO640 you do have a small amount of negligible grains...but it don't matter at Treklens...
my preference of crop would be different but then I don't know much about it any way...
about your heading, my wife says that she opened my eyes :)
Slower shutter speed provided lots of details...

Ahh yes. I believe the saying is "Love IS Blind" and yes it is! I love the reflection here Hans! I'm not sure if it is my monitor or if it could use a little more saturation. Well seen....now you shoot people kissing, horses kissing..what is next? B-)

Hans you have captured a lovely scene here the details are pin sharp the reflections in the water realy makes this shot stand out

Good spotting, the reflections are well captured. As you say, the blue hour light creates a nice effect on them. A somewhat simple scene, but beautiful. I'm not sure when the noise reduction software kicks in on your D300, but on the D90 it works starting at 800 ASA. It might be worth bumping up in this type of shot if it's the same case on your camera.
