[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Going through some of my old shots trying to tidy up my filling system I came across this one which I was never able to process to a result that I liked. When using Photomatix the sky came in too grey, tried processing using Dynamic HDR and was able to get a more natural look to the sky.

5 images from 1 RAW shot processed in Dynamic HDR.

What an interesting scene this is Derek, and so nicely framed by the trees and lower log.
The fluffy clouds catch my eye and so do the smooth waters reflecting the green hills
Nice and sharp too

Nice one Derek, would have never guessed that it had been HDR'd, looks so natural.

Like the composition using what nature has provided. And the sky mirrors its reflection in the loch really well.

Nice one.

Excellent natural framing and your use of a wider dof, bringing the foreground in focus, is a good choice. Very nice colors. Well done, tfs.

Hi Derek...
Nice view...
Beautiful colors and light...

Hi Derek,
Wow! This is beautiful! Love the natural colors, the trees natural framing....lovely.

Hello Derek,

This one was certainly worth resurrecting!
It is a lovely capture of the Scottish countryside with, as you note, the natural framing from the surrounding trees.
Your dof is excellent for f/g details and producing a gradual blur into the extending b/g.

My warm regards,
Bev :-)
