Tunnel vision

During a boat trip through the park in the centre of Riga I passed several brifges. Captured this view just before entering the tunnel bridge with the lush green in front of the boat.

Due the low light I had to lower the shutter speed while using f/11 to keep enough DOF. The boat was due the very low speed nicely stable.

Hello Hans ;)))
Original POV...pleasent colors, TFS
Best regards,
J ;)

Hi Hans - I like the composition. Just a hint of the arch visible as you go under it, with the arch at the far end framing the scene nicely. Definitely a northern European look to the lush green along the river banks which you've caught with good vibrancy....

Good Morning Hans,

An eye-catching, eye-shaped presentation.
I just love how the irridescent colours draw the viewers gaze through the tunnel, along the river, with plenty of time to enjoy the rippling reflections as well as the pleasing 's' shaped bend.
There is enough detail in the bridge to set the context of the shot.
Good choice of settings.

Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Hi Hans...
Nice details and nice presentation...
Nice composition...

Hi Hans!
It is way underexposed on the "rim" of a picture. That underexposure creates a lot of area with no detail. There is also a matter of the composition with virtually nothing that draws an eyesight through that blackness to the green on the other side

Great vision and photos.
Beautiful colors and light.
Have a nice week ,

Boa tarde Hans
When the good technic meets the soul of feeling and beauty.
It was really to fun to see this picture because I have said: wow...and I though I must see who is this photographer...I must say I was surprised ( just at first) but I was .
When the things I have remark in your approach in the critics is that you get out in in your photos all is not essenciel...lots of time I have reading you to sya that you will crop more...Here you done for me a great work...it is a perfect eye with pupils and very well design.
You are always great sometimes you are better great.
I love this photo.

Hi Hans
It's a very interesting scene.
Lighting is so great as well as coloring.
Beautiful reflections

Beautiful Hans! Your tunnel is perfect framing for this scene! Well done on the exposure, it's so easy to blow out the light areas. Gorgeous scene!

I like the composition here Hans ... leaving some of the arch visible gives us perspective. I also love the rich lush colors. Well seen, and well taken

Light at the end of the tunnel and it looks like a nice place. I like the pov and the play of light and shadows
