[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This past Saturday I set out on a photo shoot with hopes of finding a lake that I had located on the map. My wife had the GPS tracker. So, I headed out on memory, having examined maps on the internet. I never did locate the lake, but did find some new landscape views that I had never set eye on.

In this photo I have tried to keep the sky as captured in the original photo. I did shapen the photo a tad and croped.

I hope you enjoy this photo of Western North Carolina.

Best regards,
Paul

Hi Paul,

This is a lovely rural winter scene. The panoramic crop suits this well. Although the sky is a lovely blue, keeping the horizon near the upper thirds horizontal axis works well IMHO. This has good DOF, but it might be good to try with a smaller aperture and slower shutter speed to take a little more advantage of the lovely colors.

Best regards,
Werner
