[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this image of the rose when the petals began to fade and change colour as it appealed to me more than when it was in full bloom.

I would have liked a wider aperture but unfortunately f5 seems to be the limit for my camera.

Not much PP work. I have just tweaked the highlights and shadows a little with the levels and sharpened.

Hello Joy,

I, too, like this rose.
There is a subtle change of colours and textures from the centre of the flower to the outer edges. The flower is well positioned with a good dof. A little more sharpening would have given the flower greater impact.

My warm regards,
Bev :-)
